Eight Proven Ways To Make Resolutions You'll Actually Keep
Try as we might, many of us rarely accomplish our New Year's resolutions. These successful business leaders and Advisors in The Oracles say it's all about your mindset. Here's how they meet their goals without fail. 1. Set goals that fit your lifestyle.
I ask myself what my business needs to look like at the end of the year to consider it a success. That’s my “big vision.” I also ask what I need to do to accomplish it. Then I create goals — broken down quarterly, monthly and weekly — to ensure it happens.
To hold myself accountable, I tell my friends my vision for the year. Once you put it out there, your subconscious will take over and make sure what you say and do align. I also create benchmarks with deadlines — then I cut them in half because we prioritize based on how much time we have. —Jeff Sherman, founder and CEO of Tech Sweat; serial entrepreneur, who has launched five businesses and impacted over 5,000 fitness businesses in six countries
